Google’s latest Android 13 operating system debuted with the Pixel smartphones last month. Now, it is slowly making its way to other Android smartphones. The OnePlus 10T was launched with OxygenOS 12.1, based on Android 12 OS, out of the box. The Chinese brand is now looking for beta testers as it has opened its OxygenOS 13 based on the Android 13 CBT (Closed Beta Testing) program in India.
OnePlus’ Closed Beta Testing for the OnePlus 10T will be open for a short duration and only 100 users in India will be allowed to participate in the program. OnePlus says that it is allowing fewer members to test the beta version to ensure that it doesn’t get leaked. If an unstable package gets leaked, it could severely affect several OnePlus 10T units. Hence, OnePlus will only be allowing access to active OnePlus Community members and they will need to adhere to strict guidelines. Members will also be required to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with OnePlus to participate in the CBT.
Steps To Participate In OnePlus 10T CBT (Closed Beta Testing):
OnePlus has listed the following requirements for eligibility:
- Only OnePlus 10T (India variant) users can sign-up.
- You should be an active OnePlus Community member.
- You will need to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with OnePlus after you receive the invitation e-mail.
- You should be willing to regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team on Telegram.
- The CBT version is not the Stable Version, which is still in development. After updating to the CBT version, you’ll remain patient and tolerate its instability and accept all risks which might be caused by it.
These 100 members will get to enjoy the features of the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 before it goes official. They will be required to report bugs and glitches in the UI to the brand. The OnePlus team will also take feedback on the UI design and features from these participants. Interested OnePlus 10T owners can head over to this link to participate in the program.
