OnePlus will test the OxygenOS 13 build for the OnePlus 9RT thoroughly with the help of the Closed Beta testers. OnePlus 9RT Android 12 Closed Beta testers will have to provide regular feedback to the development team. This will help the company prepare for the next stage, which is the Open Beta.
Do note that the Closed Beta builds are likely to contain bugs and might affect the day-to-day performance and battery life. Hence, we would not advise our readers to register for the program with their primary devices.
The OnePlus 9RT was launched back in January in the Indian market. Despite launching it in 2022, OnePlus decided to ship the smartphone with Android 11. The company had promised to roll out the OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12 for the OnePlus 9RT in Q2, but it didn’t stick to the schedule.
Since the brand has already announced the OnePlus 9RT OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta, we can expect the brand to roll out the OnePlus 9RT Android 13 Stable update this year.
