POCO M4 Pro 4G India Launch Set For February 28

Earlier this month, POCO India launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G handset in the Indian market. Now, the company has confirmed that it will launch the POCO M4 Pro 4G on February 28 in the country exclusively via Flipkart. POCO India took to its social media channels to announce the same. POCO Global has also scheduled a launch for February 28, wherein it will launch the POCO M4 Pro (4G variant) and the POCO X4 Pro 5G.

The upcoming POCO M4 Pro 4G has already been spotted on several certification and benchmark websites revealing the codename and the model number of the device. According to these listings, the upcoming POCO M-series handset will carry model number 2201117Px and codename fleur. This confirms that the POCO M4 Pro 4G variant is a rebadged Redmi Note 11S. However, as always, POCO will be making some changes to differentiate its offering from its Redmi counterpart. A couple of days back, the renders of the upcoming POCO M4 Pro were leaked on the web, courtesy of PassionateGeekz.

The leaked renders had confirmed that the POCO M4 Pro 4G will feature a 64MP triple-rear camera setup, and will come in three colour options—yellow, black, and blue. To those unaware, the Note 11S offers a 108MP quad-rear camera setup and comes in black, blue, and white colour options.

Redmi Note 11S Specifications and Features

The Note 11S flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 1,000nits peak brightness. Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor coupled with a Mali G57 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. The handset comes pre-loaded with MIUI 13, based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, the Note 11S offers a quad-rear camera setup including a 108MP primary sensor. Accompanying the high-resolution sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Note 11S makes use of a 16MP shooter which resides inside a centered punch hole notch.

The Note 11S is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and supports 33W fast charging. It offers a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup.
