Poco is preparing to launch two new M5 series smartphones, dubbed the Poco M5 and the Poco M5s. While information on the Poco M5 remains scarce, the Poco M5s was recently spotted on the NBTC certification website, suggesting that the smartphone will be launched as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S. As per the latest update, the Poco M5s has been listed by the TDRA certification authority. Let us take a look at what the listing reveals about the upcoming Poco smartphone.

The listing doesn’t reveal any details about the device except for the hint that it will arrive soon. The same model number also recently appeared on the NBTC certification website, suggesting that the Poco M5s will be launched in Thailand soon.

As mentioned earlier, the Poco M5s is said to arrive as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10S, which was launched back in December 2021. The smartphone is expected to arrive in three storage variants—4GB RAM + 64GB, 4GB RAM + 128GB, and 6GB RAM + 128GB. In terms of software, the Poco M5s is expected to run Android 12 operating system out of the box.

If the Poco M5s is indeed a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S, it will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The smartphone will come equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor coupled with ARM Mali-G76 GPU. For photography, the smartphone will offer a quad-camera setup including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. We can also expect the device to feature a 13P selfie snapper.
In terms of connectivity, the Poco M5s will offer a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Other primary features on the device will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, a microSD card slot, stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP53 water-resistance rating.
