Realme will launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone in China on July 12th, 2022. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be the brand’s first-ever to come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The brand has already showcased the design of the device in the past and today, Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature an LPDDR5X RAM. Let’s take a look.

The new RAM standard also consumes 20% less power, which will help the device perform more efficiently. Realme also confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 120Hz 10-bit display with HDR10+ support.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Specifications (Expected)
Starting with the display of the device, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is said to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will likely be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory. Coming to the software, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

As for the cameras, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will likely feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP auxiliary camera. At the front, the device could sport a 16MP selfie shooter. Lastly, the device is said to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
