Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition smartphone on July 12 in China. The company recently revealed the design of the smartphone. The GT 2 Master Explorer edition will be Realme’s first flagship to feature a flat edge design. As per the latest update, the configurations of the smartphone have been revealed via a couple of reservation listings on JD.com. Let us take a look.

The listing reveals that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will arrive in three configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. The device is expected to be priced around 3,999 yuan, which roughly translates to ₹47,000. As per TENAA listing, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition may be launched in Green and White colour variants.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition is expected to boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

For photography, the smartphone will offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calling, the device will rely on a 16MP front-facing camera. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with 100W fast charging support. Coming to dimensions, the smartphone is said to measure 161.3 × 74.3 × 8.2mm and weigh around 199 grams.
