Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Receives Android 12 Update

Samsung released the Android 12 update with One UI 4.0 for the first Galaxy A-series smartphone—the Galaxy A72 last week. A few days later, the company rolled out the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A52. Now, in a recent development, Samsung is updating yet another A-series device to the Android 12. The brand has started seeding the Android 12 update for the mid-range Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone in Korea. Let us check out what the new Android 12 update has in store for the Galaxy A52s 5G:

Samsung Rolls Out Android 12 Update For Galaxy A52s 5G

The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A52s 5G arrives with firmware version A528NKSS1BUL7. The new software update also includes the latest December 2021 security patch. It brings with it all the Android 12 goodies such as improved Dark Mode, new AR emoji stickers, Always On Display, widget picker menu, and more. The Android 12 update also consists of updated camera app design, accessibility features such as Extra Dim, improved Samsung Internet, updated stock apps like Samsung Keyboard, improved Bixby and Bixby Routines.

If you are a Galaxy A52s 5G user in South Korea, you might have received the Android 12 update. However, if you have not got the latest update yet, you can head over to Settings >> Software Update section to download and install the new Android 12 update. At the time of writing, the Android 12 update is being rolled out for the A52s 5G in the South-Korean market. We can expect Samsung to release the latest Android 12 update for the A52s 5G in the global markets as well.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was launched by Samsung in August and released in September. The handset came preloaded with Android 11 out of the box. The device should receive two more software updates and security patches for an additional year.
