Samsung Galaxy A72 Android 12 Update With One UI 4.0 Rolling Out

Last month Samsung released the Android 12 update (One UI 4.0) for the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 lineup, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note 20, and the entire Galaxy Z series. The South-Korean smartphone maker also released the Android 12 update for the Galaxy S10, first-generation Galaxy Z Fold, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Now, in a recent development, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4.0-based Android 12 update for the Galaxy A-series smartphones. The Galaxy A72 will be the first device in the Galaxy A-series to receive the Android 12 update.

Samsung Releases Android 12 Update For The Galaxy A72 in Russia

The Android 12 update with One UI 4.0 is being released for the Galaxy A72 in Russia. The new software for the Galaxy A72 arrives with firmware version A725FXXU4BULA and also includes the latest December 2021 security patch. We can expect Samsung to start rolling out Android 12 for the Galaxy A72 soon in other markets worldwide. If you are a Galaxy A72 user in Russia, you might have received the Android 12 update. If not, you can head to Settings >> Software Update section to download and install the new Android 12 update.

Samsung’s latest custom One UI 4.0 update brings in a host of new features such as improved Dark Mode, Material You-like colour theme, new AR emoji stickers, Always On Display, widget picker menu, and more. The Android 12 update also adds improvements to the camera app design and it also brings accessibility features such as Extra Dim, and much more. Samsung’s Android 12 update also offers improved Samsung Internet, updated stock apps like Samsung Keyboard, improved Bixby and Bixby Routines.
