Samsung Galaxy S22 Receives An Overwhelming Response In India, Records Over 70,000 Pre-bookings In First 12 Hours

Samsung India has received over 70,000 pre-bookings in less than 12 hours for its flagship Galaxy S22 series that went live on February 23 in India. The company revealed the overwhelming figures of the pre-booked units on Wednesday and thanked the customers for believing in its devices. However, it is not clear whether the pre-bookings made are for the S22 base model or all Samsung Galaxy S22 series models combined.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Receives An Overwhelming Response

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which was launched on February 17, is all set to go on sale on March 11 in India. Currently, the series is available for pre-booking till March 10. According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup has secured over 70,000 pre-bookings in less than 12 hours, which is deemed as an overwhelming response to the brand’s latest flagship offering.

The company, while detailing various pre-booking offers, said that customers who pre-book a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra device will receive a Galaxy Watch4 worth ₹26,999 for a discounted price of ₹2,999. Similarly, those who pre-book a Samsung Galaxy S22 or Galaxy S22+ model of the series will be able to grab a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 worth ₹11,999 for just ₹999.

Furthermore, Galaxy S and Galaxy Note owners will be eligible to receive an upgrade bonus of ₹8000 and other device owners will receive a bonus of ₹5000. Alternatively, those who choose to make the payment via Samsung Finance+ will get a cashback bonus of ₹5000.

Interested consumers can pre-book their Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 devices at leading retail outlets, Samsung Exclusive stores, Samsung online stores, and Amazon.in till March 10.

The base 8GB+128GB storage variant of the Galaxy S22 series will retail for ₹72,999 and goes up to ₹76,999 for the 8GB+256GB storage model. Whereas, the Galaxy S22+ starts at ₹84,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and goes up to ₹88,999 for the highest 8GB+256GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with a price tag of ₹1,09,999 for the 12GB+256GB storage option. The top 12GB+512GB model of the flagship series will require you to shell out ₹1,18,999 from your pocket.
