Samsung Galaxy S23 Could Launch Earlier Than Expected

If you have been waiting for the arrival of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone series, the wait might end sooner than expected. According to a report by Korea IT News, the brand might unveil its next generation Galaxy S23 series by the end of this year. Do note that it is customary for Samsung to announce its flagship series of smartphones in the first quarter of the year. Hence, we were expecting the S23 series smartphones to launch in the beginning of 2023. However, the latest report suggests otherwise.

Meanwhile, reports from the supply industry suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will arrive two or three weeks earlier than its predecessor, thus hinting at a mid or late January launch event to be held next year. The rumoured launch timeline will definitely help the brand to push sales by giving people an alternative to consider while buying the newly introduced iPhone 14 series smartphones. However, we would advise you to take the information with a pinch of salt.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Specifications (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup is said to consist of three devices—the Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23+, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Based on previous reports, all smartphones will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is not the norm when it comes to the Samsung devices. Meanwhile, we can also expect the brand to launch an Exynos-equipped variant of the devices in select markets.

As for the other specifications, the Galaxy S23 is said to offer a 6.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S23+ is expected to feature a 6.6-inch screen. Both devices might come with Full HD+ displays. In terms of imaging, the upcoming Samsung smartphones are expected to offer a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera.

Meanwhile, the CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra were leaked online earlier yesterday. The leaked images suggest that the smartphone will be almost identical to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
