Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 tablet last month. The Tab A8 is the company’s mid-range tablet for education and entertainment purposes. A couple of weeks back, the landing page for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 went up on Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung India Online Store. Now, the company has revealed the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 price in India, launch offers, and sale date.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 Price in India and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will retail in India for ₹17,999. It will be available for purchase via the Samsung India Online Store, Amazon, Flipkart, and major offline stores starting January 17 in the country.
As a launch offer, Samsung will offer users ₹2,000 cashback on purchase of Galaxy Tab A8 made via leading bank cards. Users will also get an option to purchase a book cover just for ₹999. The Galaxy Tab A8 will retail in three colour variants—pink, gray, and silver.

It sports an octa-core UniSoC Tiger T618 processor which is built on a 12nm fabrication process. The graphics duties on the handset are taken care of by an integrated Mali G52 GPU. It comes pre-loaded with Android 11.
The Tab A8 comes with a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. On the back, there is an 8MP rear camera with autofocus. The Tab A8 packs a 7,040mAh battery unit under the hood and supports 15W fast charging. However, the company has decided to bundle a 7.5W charging adapter in the box, so you need to spend extra on the fast charging adapter.
The Tab A8 features a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It also has a micro-SD card slot that lets you expand the storage further. The latest Galaxy Tab features a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. For security, you get Samsung Knox and Face Recognition support. In terms of connectivity, it offers LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 5 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. The Tab A8 measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm and weighs 508grams.
