Back in October 2019, EA had announced a mobile version of Apex Legends. The popular battle royale game was rolled out in a closed beta in select regions across the world, testing the waters before deciding to plunge into a worldwide public release. The game is already available in countries such as India, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Turkey. Recently, EA added more countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand to the list.

There’s a limit to the number of users who can join the soft launch, so you’ll have to grab your spots before they’re gone.
Gamers who use iOS devices have to keep playing the waiting game for a bit more, but EA has reassured iOS users that Apex Mobile will eventually make its way to their devices in the future. Players in other countries will also have to wait patiently for the mobile version of the game.
Soft launches are typically done for mobile games, as an extended beta test of sorts before rolling out to the public. The game will remain free to play and will have its own Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockable items, different from those found in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends. One feature that sets Apex Legends Mobile apart from the PC and console versions is the introduction of detailed weapon statistics, unique to mobile. However, the mobile version has a few shortcomings. Apex Legends Mobile will not support cross-play with the console or PC versions of the game as it is built specially for mobile.

Defiance, the twelfth season of Apex Legends is coming to PC and console on February 8. The latest season will introduce Mad Maggie, a new playable legend. Additionally, it will bring major tweaks to the legend Crypto as well as the Olympus map.
