Now you can choose any one emoji reaction, which app will stick your message as your reaction. A similar feature is available for the Instagram app, with more emoji options to pick from. Six emoji reactions for WhatsApp include a thumbs up, heart, laughing face, surprised face, sad face, and folded hands as a gesture of thanks.

According to WABetaInfo, the message reactions feature is being rolled out to select beta users with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.8.3 on Android smartphones. However, everyone using the app will be able to see the emoji reactions in their messages. A stable rollout of the feature is expected to happen soon.
