WhatsAppFacebookTwitter

WhatsApp has started rolling out the message reactions feature to select Beta users. The feature is already available on Meta’s Facebook Messenger and Instagram apps to let users react to messages with animated emojis.

The message reactions feature is finally rolling out for WhatsApp to allow users to react to messages with regular emojis. Currently, users will get only six emojis to react to their messages. Let us check out the new WhatsApp message reactions feature and find out how it works.

WhatsApp Message Reactions Feature: Here’s How It Works

WhatsApp users will have the option to react to their messages with some cool emojis, with the new emoji reactions feature being rolled out to select Beta users. While wordplay can fail, emoji reactions best convey human feelings and emotions while texting. The highly-requested feature for WhatsApp is finally making its way to Android devices for select beta testers.

In order to react to messages using emojis, you will have to long-press a message to open a box containing six different emojis. Now you can choose any one emoji reaction, which app will stick your message as your reaction. A similar feature is available for the Instagram app, with more emoji options to pick from. Six emoji reactions for WhatsApp include a thumbs up, heart, laughing face, surprised face, sad face, and folded hands as a gesture of thanks.
