Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) Tablet With 11.5-Inch 120Hz Display, Android 12L Launched: Price, Specifications

Lenovo introduced its latest Tab P11 (2nd Gen) alongside the Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) at the IFA electronics show in Berlin. The new Tab P11 brings some incremental upgrades in the display, processor, and battery departments over its predecessor along with a new paint job. It packs in a large 11.5-inch display, stylus pen support, MediaTek processor, massive 7,700mAh battery, quad speakers, and fast charging support, among other features.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) comes with a premium build, dual finish rear, and a slim frame with just 7.4mm thickness. The tablet sports a massive 11.5-inch IPS LCD with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 204 PPI. It gets relatively thick bezels surrounding the screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 86 percent. The display can achieve maximum brightness of 400 nits for enhanced legibility under sunlight.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which is based on the 6nm fabrication process. This processor debuted in the Indian market with the Infinix Note 12 Pro smartphone recently. It is a good mid-range processor but lacks 5G connectivity. The tablet is equipped with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Lenovo Tab P11 comes with a single 13MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, AF, and an 89-degree field of view. There’s an 8MP front-facing shooter with landscape orientation for selfies and video calling needs.

Some noteworthy features of the tablet include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C 2.0 port, face unlock, quad speakers, dual microphones, and a 3.5mm audio jack, among other features. The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) packs in a 7,700mAh battery under its hood, which promises a video playback of 10 hours. It is one of the few devices to be running on the Android 12L operating system.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) will come at a starting price of $249 (approx. ₹19,800) and will go on sale in January 2023. It comes in Storm Grey and Sage colour options. Lenovo will offer optional accessories such as the Lenovo Precision Pen 2, a keyboard pack, and a folio case. There’s no word about its availability in India yet.
