Netflix spatial audio works with all devices, and most importantly, you will not need to buy expensive surround sound speakers to enjoy this new feature. In the absence of surround sound speakers, spatial audio gets enabled automatically. For those who do own such speakers, Netflix recommends watching TV shows in 5.1 surround sound or Dolby Atmos.
While Netflix also supports spatial audio on Apple devices, you can experience this feature by setting the streaming quality to “High” or “Auto” and enabling the spatial audio setting. You can check out the full list of compatible Apple devices here.
