Poco appears to be gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone, dubbed the Poco C50, in India. The phone is expected to succeed the Poco C40, which was introduced in the global markets back in June 2022. According to a new report, the upcoming Poco smartphone has been spotted on the IMEI database, suggesting that it might launch soon. Let us take a look at the details.
Poco C50 Specifications (Expected)
According to a report by Xiaomiui, the Poco C50 has been listed on the IMEI database with the model number 220733SPI. Going by the model number, the smartphone appears to be the Indian variant of the Poco C50. It is also being speculated that the handset will not make it to the other global markets. The model number listed on the database also suggests that it is a rebranded version of the Redmi A1. Do note that the Redmi A1 was also recently spotted on multiple certification websites including FCC, IMEI database, and BIS.

Furthermore, the Poco C50 with the model number 220733SPI has also been listed on the BIS and Geekbench databases. Based on the Geekbench listing, the smartphone will come powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor. The Poco C50 is expected to launch with 3GB of RAM. However, there is little information available on the other specifications of the upcoming Poco smartphone. While the Poco C50 is expected to launch soon in India, the company has confirmed that the Poco C40 will not arrive in the country.
