Realme is preparing to launch a new budget smartphone, dubbed the Realme 9i 5G. The smartphone, as the name suggests, will be introduced as the 5G variant of the Realme 9i 4G, which was launched earlier this year in India. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released a couple of official teasers revealing a few key specifications of the upcoming Realme 9i 5G. Let us take a look.

As for the build, the smartphone will feature a slightly thick chin when compared to the other bezels around the phone’s display. Based on the teaser images, the Realme 9i 5G will come equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The smartphone will sport the volume keys on the left and the power button with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right edge.
Furthermore, the Realme 9i 5G is confirmed to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. Based on official teasers, the device will come powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and support for 180Hz touch sampling rate. For photography, the upcoming Realme smartphone will reportedly offer a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera accompanied by two 2MP sensors. As for the dimensions, the handset will measure 8.1mm in terms of thickness. While the smartphone is confirmed to come in a Beige Gold colour model, it also expected to launch in a black colour variant.
Meanwhile, the smartphone has also been spotted on multiple certification websites, including FCC, EEC, and NBTC. The listings reveal that the Realme 9i 5G will weigh 187 grams and will pack 6GB of RAM. It further reveals that the smartphone will run Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.
