Considering that fact that the upcoming Galaxy A-Series device is a budget offering by the brand under the foldable segment, the company might cut corners by excluding premium features and just including the core functionalities. It is reported that the smartphone may not feature the Ultra-Thin Glass layer found in other foldable phones of the company.

There is no information available as to what form factor the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A-Series Foldable smartphone is going to adopt. As for the previous foldable devices launched by the brand, the Galaxy Z Fold lineup features a book-like fold and the Galaxy Z Flip series has a clamshell fold.
