Samsung Rolls Out Android 12 Update For Galaxy S10 Lite, W22 5G

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 12 update for the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy W22 5G smartphones. The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 is being rolled out to the Galaxy S10 Lite variant in Spain with model number SM-G770F. We can expect Samsung to start rolling out the Android 12 for the S10 Lite in other markets soon. The W22 5G is the rebrand of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and it is exclusively launched in the Chinese market. The Android 12 update for the W22 5G arrives with the firmware version W2022ZCU2BULF.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, W22 5G Android 12 Update Released

The Android 12 update for the S10 Lite carries a firmware version G770FXS6FULA and it also includes the December 2021 security patch. If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite or Galaxy W22 5G user, you might have received the Android 12 update notification on your smartphone unit. If you have not received the update yet, you can head over to Settings >> Software update section to download and install the new Android 12 update.

The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 comes with a host of new features. The newer software update includes new AR emoji stickers, Always On Display, Dark Mode, Material You-like colour theme, and much more. Apart from all these improvements, the South-Korean smartphone maker even has updated its camera app design and has brought in a widget picker menu. The update also includes several accessibility features such as Extra Dim, and much more. Additionally, the company also has updated its stock apps such as Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard in the One UI 4.0.

In related news, we saw Samsung releasing the Android 12 update (One UI 4.0) for several of its smartphones. The company recently updated its devices such as the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 lineup, and Galaxy Z series to Android 12. Additionally, the brand also rolled out the Android 12 update for the Galaxy S10, the first-generation Galaxy Z Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy A72, and the Galaxy A52 recently.
