Samsung is working on its new Galaxy Watch 5, which will be the successor to its popular Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch. The new smartwatch is expected to be unveiled in August/ September 2022 and there have been many leaks and rumours doing the rounds. A new leak by Evan Blass suggests that the Galaxy Watch will be running on Samsung’s One UI Watch 4.5 on top of the upcoming Google’s Wear OS 3.5 OS. The leakster has also shared some images, giving us a fair idea about the new operating system and its features.

It could get pretty tough to type on a tiny screen of a smartwatch. Samsung has added three modes of input, to reply to your messages easier. You will get dictation, a normal keyboard, or handwriting options to choose from as per your preference. It also includes swipe typing while on QWERTY keyboard mode.
These images suggest that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 will support dual-SIM calling feature. You can toggle between both SIMs to make a phone call or message via the paired smartphone/tablet.
Samsung has also updated some accessibility features in the new iteration. Visually impaired users can double press the home button to enable TalkBack from any screen. This would enable them to navigate through the watch easily. They have also added an accessibility setting for colour blindness. You can adjust the left/right sound balance. Also, you get settings for response timing of taps and tap-holds in the UI.
