The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, which were launched in India earlier this year, are now getting the MIUI 13 update. To recall, these handsets came with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition out of the box. With the new update, the devices get Android 12-based MIUI 13, which offers an enhanced user experience. However, the brand hasn’t shared a detailed changelog of its latest update.
Xiaomi is rolling out the update in a phased manner. So, you can expect it to arrive on your Xiaomi 11i unit in a few days.

The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge come with similar specifications, barring support for fast charging and the battery capacity. The Xiaomi 11i series of smartphones feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It features 1200 nits peak brightness and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both smartphones are powered by an octa-core 6nm Dimensity 920 processor. They support up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
When it comes to the software, the Xiaomi 11i series boots MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition based on Android 11 out of the box. As promised, Xiaomi has rolled out the MIUI 13 software update for the two smartphones. When it comes to imaging, the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge have a triple-camera setup. It comprises a 108MP primary camera sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP tele macro lens. The handsets feature a 16MP camera for selfies.
While the Xiaomi 11i has a 5,160mAh battery, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge comes with a 4,500mAh battery. The former device supports 67W fast charging, and the latter offers 120W fast charging. When it comes to connectivity, both smartphones offer the following features—a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM card support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, and GPS. Both handsets come equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual symmetric speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, as well as an IR blaster.
