Apple has raised the cost of its iPad Mini (2021) and iPad Air (2022) in India, shortly after unveiling the new iPad Pro 2022, entry-level iPad 2022, and Apple TV 4K. The base model of the iPad Mini 2021 now costs ₹49,900, while the base model of the iPad Air costs ₹59,900. There is currently no statement from the company behind the rising prices, even as the adjusted rates have now quietly gone live on Apple’s official online shop. The tablet, which is also available in an LTE variant, is now available in India for ₹64,900, with a difference of ₹4,000 compared to the pricing at launch.
Apple has also raised the price of its iPad Air. The iPad Air 2022, which debuted in March for ₹54,900, is now available for ₹59,900 for the 64GB Wi-Fi edition. Likewise, the 64GB LTE model is now priced at ₹74,900, up from ₹68,900 at launch.
Both the iPads, the iPad Mini and the iPad Air, possess 12MP cameras on the front and back. The iPad mini (2021) has an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, while the iPad Air (2022) has a 10.9-inch display. Apple Pencil compatibility, stereo speakers, touchID, and Apple’s fastest chipsets, the A15 Bionic on the Mini and the Apple M1 on the Air, are all included.
Apple’s current tablet portfolio includes the iPad Pro 2022, iPad Air, entry-level iPad, and iPad Mini. The recently released iPad 10th Generation has two storage options: 64GB and 256GB. It will be available for purchase from October 28, 2022, through both online and offline channels, with prices starting at ₹44,900.
