Infinix Note 12 Pro To Debut In India On August 26

Infinix began teasing its latest Infinix Note 12 Pro smartphone last week. Now, the landing page of the smartphone is live on Flipkart, confirming its launch date. The Infinix Note 12 Pro will launch on August 26, 2022 and is set to be the first smartphone in India to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The smartphone will be slotted below the already available Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G in the lineup. Let’s have look at what else it would bring to the table. 

Infinix Note 12 Pro: Features, Specifications 

The Infinix Note 12 Pro boasts of a flat rear panel and flat sides, which is the current trend in the smartphone industry. It comes with a rectangular gradient top portion that houses the circular camera island. The volume buttons are placed on the right side. The smartphone is very sleek with a thickness of just 7.8mm. At the front, the smartphone comes with a dreadful waterdrop notch on the display and a relatively thick bottom chin bezel. 

The Note 12 Pro sports a large 6.7-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ display resolution and 60Hz screen refresh rate. For an immersive audio/video experience, the device comes with dual stereo speakers with DTS surround sound support.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor built on the 6nm fabrication process. The chipset doesn’t support 5G and users will have to make do with 4G networks. The handset will be equipped with 8GB of RAM, which can be further expanded by an additional 5GB with the help of the virtual RAM expansion feature. 

In terms of optics, the Infinix Note 12 Pro gets a triple rear camera setup comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth camera, and an AI lens. Selfie and video calling duties are handled by a 16MP snapper at the front. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 33W fast charging support. It will run on XOS 10.6 based on Android 12 out of the box.

The Infinix Note 12 Pro could be priced under ₹15,000 in India. Meanwhile, the Note 12 Pro 5G with a much better processor and 5G support is available for ₹17,999.
