The Realme GT Neo 3T has made its global debut today. The smartphone is a rebranded version of the Realme Q5 Pro, which was launched in the Chinese market in April 2022. The Realme GT Neo 3T will sit alongside the Realme GT Neo 3 and will feature a Snapdragon chipset alternative to the MediaTek Dimensity processor of the latter. The GT Neo 3T packs in a large E4 AMOLED display, high screen refresh rate, triple camera setup, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos, among other features.

The Realme GT Neo 3T comes with a fancy chequered type design at the rear, which Realme calls the “Racing Flag Design”. It sports a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED panel by Samsung and comes with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. The display can achieve a peak brightness of 1300 nits and supports a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. It gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against drops and scratches.
The smartphone is powered by a tried and tested octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is built on the 7nm process. It has been doing duty in multiple devices such as the Mi 11x, iQOO 7, OnePlus 9R, Realme GT Neo 2, and more. It is regarded as a very reliable processor and provides stable frame rates during gaming. Moreover, it comes with Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus to keep its thermals in check and aid in battery efficiency. You can make use of its GT Mode 3.0 to extract maximum performance during gaming. The handset is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It’s a shame that it doesn’t come with an OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) primary camera at this price point. Selfie and video calling duties are handled by the 16MP front-facing snapper housed in the left-aligned punch-hole camera cutout on the display.
Some other noteworthy features include 5G SA/ NSA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), GLONASS, Navic, in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port, among others. The handset is powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 80W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Realme GT Neo 3T: Price, Availability
The Realme GT Neo 3T comes at a starting price of $469.99 (approx. ₹36,522 ) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB variant costs $509.99 (approx. ₹39,630 ). The global prices are significantly higher than the Realme Q5 Pro, a.k.a the Realme GT Neo 3T’s China price of around ₹23,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. Expect the prices to be around ₹25,000 when it arrives in India.
