In July 2022, we reported that Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy A23 5G to accompany the Galaxy A23 4G smartphone in India. While its European price, battery capacity, and charging specifications were known at the time, its design was still under wraps. Now, SlashLeaks has posted some renders of the upcoming Samsung mid-range smartphone giving us a fair idea about its design. Let’s have look at them below.
Going by the renders, the Galaxy A23 5G seems to carry the same design as the Galaxy A23 4G smartphone. There’s a waterdrop notch on the display and a quad camera setup at the rear. Moreover, it gets the same black, white, blue, and orange colour options as the 4G variant.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: Specifications (Rumoured)
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is rumoured to sport a 6.6-inch TFT display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V notch. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor with 5G support. This mid-range chipset also does duty in devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, Realme 9 Pro 5G, iQOO Z6 5G, Vivo T1 5G, and others. It will be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The base variant is expected to be support 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A23 5G will come with a quad camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 25W fast charging support. The device will run on One UI 4.1 on top of Android 12 OS out of the box. The leaked European prices suggest it will start at €300 (approx. ₹24,500). However, expect the prices to be lower in India.
